Virtual Browser supports Windows and macOS. See the tables below for your platform.

App won’t open on macOS?

If Gatekeeper blocks the app, run in Terminal (adjust the path if needed):

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/VirtualBrowser.app"

The homepage Mac section shows the same command.

3. Network

General

• Download: 1 Mbps minimum; 10 Mbps+ recommended
• Upload: 512 Kbps minimum; 2 Mbps+ recommended
• Latency: Under 100 ms recommended

Proxies

• HTTP / HTTPS / SOCKS5
• Username & password auth
• Per-profile proxy settings

4. Software dependencies

Windows

• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015–2022
• Current Windows updates
• DirectX 11+
• Firewall rules allowing Virtual Browser (for API / cloud sync)

macOS

• No separate runtime installer (bundled with the app)
• Use the xattr command above if Gatekeeper quarantines the app
• Allow network access when macOS prompts

5. Site compatibility

Commonly used

• E-commerce: Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Wish, etc.
• Social: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
• Payments: PayPal, Stripe, etc.
• Web3: MetaMask, OpenSea, etc.

Limitations

Sites with strict anti-automation or hardware binding may not work reliably—test your own workflows.

6. Performance tips

• Close unnecessary background apps
• Use an SSD; reserve space for extra Chromium kernels
• Limit how many profiles run at once
• Clear profile cache periodically
• Align fingerprint locale/timezone with proxy IP region

7. Troubleshooting
