Browser Fingerprint FAQ
What is a fingerprint?
Sites collect screen size, OS, browser version, fonts, Canvas/WebGL, timezone, language, etc. to recognize returning visitors.
Why change it?
- Isolate multi-account sessions
- Lower linkage risk
- Match a target region/device profile
Virtual Browser randomizes and isolates fingerprints per profile.
Change fingerprint settings
- Open a profile → Settings → fingerprint tab
- Adjust resolution, OS/UA, language, timezone
- Enable Canvas / WebGL / Audio protections as needed
- Save and relaunch the profile
Settings not applied
- Confirm save succeeded
- Full restart of the profile (not just a tab)
- Avoid conflicting manual overrides vs IP-auto locale
- Some sites use server-side checks beyond fingerprint
Pick a realistic profile
| Target | Hint |
|---|---|
| US e-commerce | en-US, America/New_York, desktop 1920×1080 |
| EU social | en-GB or local language, matching EU proxy |
| Mobile TikTok web | Mobile UA only if required |
Test with FingerprintJS and BrowserLeaks.
